Patrick Cauntay is Assistant Director at Ionis Pharmaceuticals. He is responsible for researching and developing local and global advocacy relationships and innovative partnerships that provide a deeper understanding of various diseases from the patients and caregivers' perspectives. Bridging antisense drug discovery and antisense technology research to patient needs and treatments is integral to Patient Centered Drug Development. He has 16 years of Pharmaceutical industry experience. He joined Ionis over 12 years ago in Nonclinical Research and Development, Investigative Toxicology Research and recently transitioned into Ionis’ Patient Centered Drug Development. Prior to joining the Pharmaceutical Industry, Patrick operated Board and Care Homes for disabled adults.
