This session will present innovative uses of technology to collect data from and about patients in clinical research studies, including an update on Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) technology, the use of in-home monitoring for patients with neurological disorders, and the use of technology for expression detection. An EMA regulatory perspective will also be presented. Learning Objectives

Describe the current state of BYOD and how it may evolve in the future; Discuss new approaches to patient assessment in neurological disorders including passive data collection and use of the artificial intelligence; Describe the use of expression detection as a clinical outcome assessment tool.
